Promotion Fund
The Institute operates with private funds that jointly contribute livestock producers and refrigerators throughout the country. The law establishes that producers make a contribution equivalent to 20 cents percent of the index value of beef in the slaughter house ($1.25), and the industry 9 cents percent of that value ($ 0.55), totaling today $ 1.80 per animal intended for slaughter.
The role of the Institute in the beef chain
The IPCVA is aimed at improving and consolidating the image of Argentine meat products, taking advantage of the history and tradition of the country in the matter and the prestige gained in international markets. In this sense, the sectoral management of the IPCVA (production, industry and State), the transparency in the destination of the funds contributed and the professionalism of its human resources, constitute the central values pursued by the organization in the face of the challenges of its mission.

Identify and create demand for Argentine meat products in national and international markets, design and implement marketing strategies to improve the positioning of meat products abroad, plan and develop promotion strategies to contribute to the improvement of consumption levels.
